    Such a coffin is described, for example, in GB 2334946 A or in US 2010/0218351 A1. The advantages of such a multi-purpose covenant lie in the fact that, especially for cremations, the inner coffin to be burned can be manufactured from a less expensive material, for example corrugated board or cardboard, which saves resources and costs. At the same time, the outer coffin made of high-quality materials offers a dignified way of transporting the corpse during the funeral ceremonies.
    However, in today's multicultural society, as well as the increasing desire for individuality, a uniform outdoor coffin is not enough for a funeral home, which is why the known systems are rarely used in practice. The respective undertaker would have to stock a variety of different casket models, which are provided for example with different religious symbols or various other designs to meet the existing requirements. In practice, however, this would mean too much effort for the undertaker regarding the storage of the external coffins, which is why, from an economic point of view, disposable coffins continue to be used.
    The object of the present invention is therefore to provide a coffin for multiple use, which eliminates the above-mentioned disadvantages and provides a system which is feasible for the undertaker from an economic point of view, and which allows any number of different optical packaging without the storage facilities of the Undertaker to be overstretched.
    This object is achieved in that a decorative shell is provided, which has substantially the contour of the cover of the outer coffin and can be placed on this and optionally fixed to this. The decorative shell can be made of any material and designed on the respective outer side in different designs. Several individual decorative bowls are stackable and therefore require very little space. The decorative shell can be formed very thin-walled, since it is applied only to the cover of the outer coffin, to adapt its appearance image of the respective wishes, but itself must have no carrying capacity. In a common cover of the outer coffin with bevelled side edges, the decorative shell, which is designed following this contour, can be easily placed on the cover and thus centered on the beveled side edges even on the cover. An additional fixation is not necessary in this case, but can also be provided by very simple measures, such as magnetic locks.
    According to a further feature of the invention, it is provided that the decorative shell consists of plastic and is provided with a decorative layer, for example with a print or a film. In this way, the shell can be made very inexpensive, thin-walled and stable. The decorative shell is also very light, which does not significantly increase the weight of the coffin. The decorative shell can also be easily printed with any decoration and / or religious symbols, etc. partially or full-surface or coated with decorative films.
    It is a further feature of the invention that the decorative shell is translucent. It is also a feature of the invention that the outer coffin in the cover on the outside recesses in the form of grooves or holes, in which LED bulbs are arranged. LED bulbs in the form of individual spots or light strips can be arranged on the outer coffin and illuminate the translucent decorative shell. The design options and lighting effects that can be achieved with the individual decorative shells, multiplied by this measure in addition. Since LED bulbs are very energy efficient, the supply can be ensured by an autonomous power source, which is housed in the outer coffin.
    Another feature of the invention is that the pivotable flap of the outer coffin is formed by one of the end-side side walls, preferably by the head-side side wall. It is advisable to use an end face for inserting and removing the inner coffin, as the hinges required for the flap can thus be made very small and visually invisible on the outer coffin. The hinges of the flap can be arranged at the top, bottom or side of the flap. In conventional reception halls in central Europe, the head of the coffin is generally located on the side away from the attendees and faces a wall or altar. Since this page is thus least visible to those present, it is advisable to provide the flap preferably at this end face.
    Finally, it is a feature of the present invention that in the bottom plate of the outer coffin inwardly directed conveyor rollers or ball rollers are arranged, which facilitate the insertion and removal of the inner coffin by the flap. This measure also hardly increases the weight of the outer coffin, but makes handling much easier, especially when the insertion and removal of the inner coffin over one of the front side walls.

    The coffin according to the invention, as shown in Fig. 1, has an outer coffin 1, which serves to receive an inner coffin of inexpensive material. One of the side walls 3 of the outer coffin 1, in the example shown, the head-side end wall is formed as a flap 4. The flap is hinged by hinges 10 upwards. The outer coffin 1 further comprises a cover 7, which is provided with grooves 8 and holes 9, in which LED bulbs are arranged. The removable decorative shell 6 has substantially the contour of the cover 7 and can be easily slipped over this. A decorative shell made of translucent plastic with print or decorative foil is illuminated by the LED bulbs in the mounted state. Since the different usable decorative shells 6 all have the same contour, they are easily stackable and can be stored to save space.
    In Fig. 2, the outer coffin 1 is shown with open flap 4 and pushed-out inner coffin 5. In the bottom plate 2 of the outer coffin 1 conveyor rollers 11 are arranged, which facilitate the insertion and removal of the inner coffin 5. The coffin according to the invention thus offers easy handling, space-saving storage and variety in the individualization of the casket on the decorative shells 6. By using cost-effective sustainable materials for the inner coffin 5 resources are also conserved and saved costs.
